Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 18, 2026

These terms govern the use of Spotlightrend's website and app (the "Service"). By creating an account, paying for a plan or using the Service you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the company you register. Questions: hello@spotlightrend.com.

1. The Service

Spotlightrend collects public news, mentions and competitor web pages for the keywords and competitors a company sets up, and uses AI to classify, summarize and explain them. Features and limits depend on the plan.

2. Accounts and roles

  • A company account is opened by its company admin, who can add employees and other admins. You are responsible for the people you add and for keeping passwords secret.
  • Information you give us must be accurate. You must be at least 18 and allowed to bind your company.
  • Platform staff may access a company's account to provide support and run the Service.

3. Plans, payment and renewal

  • Plans are paid upfront for the chosen term (6 or 12 months) through PayPal, at the price shown at checkout. Coupons and promotional prices cannot be combined; the better price applies.
  • Plans do not renew automatically. We remind company admins before the paid period ends. After it ends, access continues for a 7-day grace period and is then suspended until the plan is renewed. Data is kept during suspension.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, including cancellation rights under applicable consumer protection law.
  • We may change prices for future terms; a change never affects a term you already paid for.
  • Plan limits (users, keywords, competitors, RSS feeds, AI features) are enforced by the Service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, or harass, defame or spy on individuals.
  • Monitor websites in a way that breaks their terms, or try to bypass technical limits of the Service or of the sites it reads.
  • Probe, overload or attack the Service, or resell or share access outside your company without our written consent.

5. Content and AI output

  • Your company owns the configuration and notes it adds. You give us the rights needed to process them to provide the Service.
  • Collected articles and pages belong to their publishers. The Service shows titles, short excerpts and links for internal monitoring; use the original sources according to their terms.
  • AI summaries, sentiment, importance scores and recommendations are generated automatically and can be incomplete or wrong. Reports separate verified facts from interpretation, but decisions remain yours: check the sources before relying on them.
  • We are not responsible for third-party content collected by the Service or for what users add or do. We may remove content or suspend an account after a complaint or suspected misuse, without first deciding who is right.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation; collection depends on third-party sources that can change or block access. We may improve, change or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes to paid features.

7. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your company's data. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, do not pay, or put the Service or others at risk.

8. Disclaimers and liability

  • The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of collected or AI-generated information.
  • To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees your company paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Privacy

How we handle personal data, including cookies, is described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory law gives you the right to sue elsewhere.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and notify account admins of significant changes. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
